Levest Tablets are a widely prescribed combined oral contraceptive pill (COCP) used to prevent pregnancy. Each tablet contains a combination of two hormones – ethinylestradiol (a synthetic oestrogen) and levonorgestrel (a synthetic progestogen) – which work together to mimic the body’s natural hormonal cycle.
